Developing Healthy Bodies
Faith believes that learning how to be good stewards of one's
body is an important element in education. That is why physical education
classes are offered daily beginning with Kindergarten where kids learn
skills and exercise. Teachers in the younger grades teach about nutrition
and high school students are taught health from a Biblical perspective.
Learning Good Sportsmanship
Christ-centered competition is taught by coaches who love the
athletes and the sport they lead. Lessons are taught from victories as well
as losses. Maintaining one's cool despite the oppositions’ tactics has been
a central value reinforced by Faith's coaches. Visiting teams have often
commented on the disciplined play of our athletes. Faith has also been
honored with the conference's sportsmanship award on several occasions and
we have been pleased to hear from referees who appreciate the fine attitudes
of our athletes.
Winning for His Glory
Athletic competition is an excellent vehicle through which to
develop discipline, teamwork, and leadership as well as strong, healthy
bodies. Faith Christian School offers a wide variety of sports at the junior
