Mission:
Provide a comprehensive, Christ-centered education that equips
students to discover truth through the lens of Scripture, to fulfill their
potential for further academic pursuits, and to be conformed to the image of Christ.
Curriculum:
Faith’s philosophy of education focuses on Christ as being central
to learning. To facilitate that philosophy, we take a subject or teacher
centered approach to the classroom, following a more traditional approach to
education that seeks the students’ mastery of the subject in accordance with the
standard of truth.
In the elementary grades, the A Beka curriculum is used to establish an
excellent foundation in mathematics and reading. Saxon mathematics is used
in the junior and senior high, a more traditional approach to math. A
variety of curricula are used in the junior and senior high program in other
subjects. The curriculum and classroom teaching is designed to integrate a
Biblical world-view so that students can see not only God’s hand in all of
learning, but can also see God’s purposefulness for learning.
