Athletic Injuries

The following procedures should be followed when an athlete comes home with an injury.

· The parent should immediately make sure that the athlete told the coach.

· If the athlete neglected to tell the coach, then it is very important to phone the coach as soon as possible.

· The coach will file an accident report with the athletic office.

· The parent's insurance company is the primary and the school insurance is the secondary.

· Any outstanding balance after the primary insurance has settled should be submitted to the Faith Christian School business office. Be sure to include a copy of the statement from your insurance company.
