Head of School

Mr. Jim McCormick, M. Ed., Head of School

“And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” -Matthew 22:37-39

I believe that if the Christian school gets Jesus’ ultimate commandment for believers right, that the Christian school will be exactly what God calls it to be. At FCS, we are about loving each other well. Then and only then, can the learning and the training of the next generation of Christian leaders take place most effectively. I hope you will partner with us!

I’m humbled to serve the FCS family as we support each other in the stewardship of our children toward effective Christ-centered education.  I am a sinner saved by the grace of God through the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and I’m a proud product of Christ-centered education, as is my wife. In fact, we are high school sweethearts from Canyon Creek Christian Academy in Richardson, TX. My parents are both Christian school educators; I’ve lived and breathed Christian education in almost all of its manifestations as a student, teacher, coach, athletic director, administrator, and parent.

At Faith Christian School, we believe that Christ-centered education is much more than simply being counter-cultural. The partnership between a Christ-centered home and a Christ-centered school can be the most effective way to obey God’s mandate to disciple our children to be followers of Jesus, especially in times such as these, when many dads and moms have to work to provide for their families and may not be equipped to teach subjects such as: Cursive, Calculus, and Chemistry.   If you feel called to partner with a Christ-centered school for your children, please come tour our facility. I look forward to meeting you.”

We will not hide them from their children,
but tell to the coming generation
the glorious deeds of the Lord, and his might,
