Part-Time Positions

  • Administrative Assistant

Faith Christian School is seeking a welcoming, energetic, and highly organized administrative assistant. This position is part-time for the summer months (Approximately May 16-August 25, 2022; Monday-Thursday, 9am-3pm) with the possibility of becoming a full-time position once the 2022-2023 school year begins.

  • Art Teacher

Faith Christian School is seeking a Christ-centered educator who is called to disciple students as a teacher of Art for 1st through 12th grade (predominantly secondary students). The candidate will ideally have experience teaching Art. Qualifications include possessing at least a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and an ACSI teaching certificate or the willingness to pursue certification.

  • PreK Aide

Faith Christian School is seeking a Christ-centered educator who is called to disciple students as a PreK Aide. The candidate will ideally have experience in early childhood education . Qualifications include possessing at least a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and an ACSI teaching certificate or the willingness to pursue certification.

Full-Time Positions

  • Admissions Director/Choice Program Administrator

Faith Christian School is seeking a Christ-centered educator who is called to disciple students and families through the FCS Admissions Process and to administer the Wisconsin Parental Choice Program (WPCP).  
Qualifications for the WCPC include possessing at least a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or a teaching license or administrator license issued by the DPI.  More detail can be reviewed here at the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction’s website.
Most functions can be performed from a home office; however, some hours spent conducting tours and attending meetings are required. This is a part time position, estimated 20-28 hours per week. Full-time employment is possible depending on the candidates skills and experience. Salary is commensurate with experience.

  • Athletic Director

Faith Christian School is seeking a Christ-centered educator who is called to disciple students through the realm of athletics. The Athletic director is responsible for promoting the schools mission and values through the development and  implementation of athletic  programs grades 5-12. The primary goals of this position are to lead all aspects of  Faith Christian athletics and  to train and encourage coaches to strive for excellence in all areas while using athletics to disciple students.
The athletic director position is a part time position that can be combined with other positions (teaching/administrative) that the school has openings for to create a full time position

Qualifications
Holds a Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited college or university
Has or is eligible for ACSI certification
Shows proficiency in technology, organizational and administrative skills
Is ready to integrate vibrant faith into school athletics

  • Elementary Teaching Positions

Faith Christian School is seeking a Christ-centered educator who is called to disciple students as a teacher of the Elementary Grades. The candidate will ideally have experience teaching in a Christian school. Qualifications include possessing at least a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and an ACSI teaching certificate or the willingness to pursue certification.

  • Secondary Teaching Positions

Faith Christian School is seeking Christ-centered educators who are called to disciple students as a teacher of the Secondary Grades. Faith Christian is currently seeking teachers in the areas of History, English, technology and Athletic Directing. Qualifications include possessing at least a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and an ACSI teaching certificate or the willingness to pursue certification.

We are currently seeking qualified individuals for substitute teaching in Elementary, Middle School, and High School

  • Families are actively participating and regularly worshiping in a local church which is in alignment with the FCS Statement of Faith.

Academic Profile

Each student gives evidence of a commitment to the learning process based on:

  • Report cards, transcripts, and other related documentation that indicate the student is an independent learner and can be successful in a traditional school environment.
  • Admissions assessment that indicates the student is equipped to succeed in a rigorous academic climate.
  • Satisfactory conduct records and personal references.

School Partnership

  • There is an understanding and an agreement with the statement of faith, philosophy of education, and mission of Faith Christian School to provide children with a Christ-centered education which means Jesus Christ is acknowledged in every area of life.
  • Families and, when age appropriate, students, agree to support and live in accordance with the Family Lifestyle Statement and the Gender Policy (provided at the initial tour or subsequent interview).

Parent and Student Handbook

  • Parents and students agree to read the Student Handbook prior to finalizing the enrollment commitment.

Step Two Application

If a candidate’s qualifications match the posted employment opening, the candidate will be invited to fill out the Employment Application.

Step Three Review

The application will be reviewed and a decision made whether or not to continue the process.

Step Four Interview

A pre-interview may be requested by the school followed by a formal interview.
