Growing Christ-Centered Leaders
At Faith Christian School, leadership is deeply rooted in discipleship and our core values: Love, Learn, and Lead. Through intentional leadership trips, students are equipped to grow spiritually, strengthen relationships, and develop the skills needed to serve as Christ-centered leaders in every area of life.
Our leadership trips are carefully designed to challenge students spiritually, relationally, and mentally. By stepping outside their daily routines, students experience opportunities to connect with God, grow in community, and gain practical leadership training that equips them for their current and future roles as Christ-centered leaders.
Faith Christian School leadership trips are more than field trips, they are transformative experiences that empower students to love deeply, learn passionately, and lead boldly, following Christ in all they do.
Faith Christian School trains students to lead by example, influencing others for Christ with integrity, humility, and purpose (1 Timothy 4:12). Each trip strengthens students’ ability to lead with a servant’s heart in school, community, and beyond.
Annual Leadership Trips
We believe there is immense value in stepping away from daily routines to listen to God, reflect on His work in our lives, and strengthen the bonds between students and teachers. Our leadership trips provide students with opportunities to grow spiritually, relationally, and in leadership, all while stepping out of their comfort zones.
These experiences are more than just field trips, they are transformative moments that empower students to love deeply, learn passionately, and lead boldly, following Christ in every aspect of their lives. Learn More
Purposeful Leadership Development

Each leadership trip is thoughtfully organized around three key pillars that shape the experience and help guide student growth. These pillars ensure that every trip is a purposeful opportunity for students to encounter God, strengthen community, and gain tools that prepare them to lead.
three key pillars:
Connecting with God: Spiritual reflection, worship, study, and practicing spiritual disciplines.
Connecting with Others: Team-building, conflict resolution, goal-setting, and fostering Christian unity.
Getting Equipped: Leadership training, apologetics education, personality and spiritual gift assessments, and personal goal planning.
Our annual leadership trips are intentionally designed to help students grow. Through shared experiences, reflection, and healthy challenges, students deepen their faith, build stronger connections with one another, and develop practical leadership skills. These trips create meaningful moments of growth that help students learn how to love and lead like Christ—both now and in the future.
Elementary Leadership Day at Covenant Harbor
After getting settled into the school year, our PreK-5th grade students took a break to spend a day at Covenant Harbor in Lake Geneva. The day was filled with exploration, fun activities, and team-building exercises that encouraged them to work together as a class. Through two impactful chapel sessions, our students were challenged to connect with God and learn how He is constantly connecting with us. It was a day of spiritual growth and bonding that our elementary students will remember fondly!
9th Grade Leadership Day at Covenant Harbor
Our 9th graders kicked off their high school journey with a day at Covenant Harbor focused on team building and community building. Since many students are new to FCS at this point, the day offered the perfect opportunity for them to bond and face challenges together, especially through the high and low ropes courses. The goal was to help these students grow as a class and prepare them for the next phase of their FCS experience by developing trust and collaboration.
10th-11th Grade Leadership Trip to Living Waters Bible Camp
Our 10th and 11th grade students spent three days at Living Waters Bible Camp, where they were stretched physically, spiritually, and emotionally. The 10th graders focused on personal growth and teamwork, cooking meals over a fire and staying in covered wagons. Meanwhile, the 11th graders began stepping into leadership roles, guiding the 10th graders in some activities and challenging themselves with paintball and a giant swing. Both grades also participated in a service project at the camp, learning the importance of servant leadership. It was an unforgettable trip full of growth and bonding for both grades.
12th Grade Leadership Day & Capstone TRip
Throughout the year at Faith Christian School, each leadership trip is designed to build and grow our students, preparing them for their capstone experience during their senior year.
The Senior Leadership Journey culminates in a week-long adventure in northern Arizona. During this trip, students reflect on their time at FCS while exploring God’s creation, including the Grand Canyon. They also partner with Christian ministries, putting their faith into action and celebrating all they have accomplished during their years at Faith.
