In order to provide the best education for our students Faith Christian School provides limited student services within our ability we partner with both Fontana and Big Foot School Districts to provide official services to those with active IEP, SLP, or 504 plans.
Early intervention has been shown to allow the largest growth which is why we like to concentrate on supporting our elementary students with the most support and intervention. Our secondary students can receive support through intervention during study times and after school from our teachers and staff.
The Orton Gillingham Approach is an individualized program that helps students who are having difficulty in the areas of reading and spelling develop an understanding of how our language works.
The Orton Gillingham program teaches children sounds, rules and strategies to help better understand language in the areas of reading and spelling and penmanship difficulties such as dyslexia. It is intended for students of all grades regardless of reading level.
Each new multi sensory learning session has students discovering an understanding of how our language works.
