Grandparents Day is Coming! Watch for Paperwork This Week
We are excited to invite grandparents and special friends to join us for Grandparents Day on Thursday, May 8, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 12:15 PM. This will be a special day to honor our loved ones and create lasting memories for all. Grandparents and special friends will have the opportunity to tour classrooms, engage in activities with their grandchild, and enjoy a meaningful time of worship and prayer with our administration. The day will also include our Spring Spotlight program, where we celebrate the accomplishments of our students, including a special send-off for our 5th graders as they transition to junior high. To wrap up the day, grandparents, families, and students will enjoy lunch together.
Please note that no hot lunch will be available, so be sure to pack a lunch for your child and their guest. Student arrival and dismissal times will remain the same as usual.
In the coming days, you can expect paperwork to come home with more details about the event. This will include a postcard invitation that you can use to invite your child’s grandparents or other special guests to join us for the day.
We look forward to celebrating this special day with you and your family!
Calling all 5th Grade Parents
Rising 6th Graders Night is on April 10 at 6 PM
As we approach the end of your child’s elementary years, we are excited to invite you to Rising 6th Graders Night on April 10th at 6:00 PM. This special event is designed to guide both parents and students through the transition to middle school. We will cover important topics such as block schedules, extracurriculars, chapel, spiritual development, and the role of parental involvement at the secondary level. You’ll also have a chance to meet the middle school team, tour classrooms, and ask any questions about this next exciting phase of your child’s education.
We highly encourage you to attend, as this night will provide valuable insights and help set your student up for success in middle school. We look forward to seeing you there and walking alongside you in this exciting transition!
