Weekly Secondary Leadership Opportunities
Forming Christ-Centered Leaders Through Community, Service, and Discipleship
For our Secondary students, we intentionally set aside time every day for growth and connection called Eagle Time. During Eagle Time, our 6th–12th grade students participate in purposeful activities designed to help them grow socially, emotionally, and spiritually. These rhythms encourage meaningful relationships, leadership development, and discipleship as students pursue Christ together.
Monday: House Groups
High School students are placed into one of three Houses that reflect our core values: Love (Barnabas), Learn (Peter), and Lead (Nehemiah). These groups then divide by gender for deeper connection and discussion.
Middle School students meet in boys and girls groups within their grade band to foster healthy relationships and mentorship.
This year, in alignment with our theme Be Transformed, students are studying the Book of Romans through a RightNow Media series taught by Pastor J. D. Greear.
Tuesday: Class Community and Mentorship
Tuesdays are dedicated to building class community. Students meet with their classmates and their class advisor to plan events and trips, communicate, and grow together. Each month, every Secondary class (6th through 12th) also partners with an Elementary Mentor Class (4K through 5th) for activities that promote service, leadership, and joyful connection across grade levels.
Wednesday: Large Group Devotional
On most Wednesdays, all Secondary students gather in the Commons for a large group devotional. These are led either by students or staff and provide opportunities to grow in God’s Word and practice faith in community.
Thursday: Student Clubs
Students choose clubs that help them explore interests, develop skills, and build friendships in meaningful ways. Club offerings include:
- Fitness Club
- Service and Maintenance
- Yearbook and Photography
- Cooking
- Worship Arts
- Strategic Board Games
Additional club options may be added throughout the year. Clubs allow students to create, collaborate, and contribute to the school community.
Friday: Student-Led Small Groups
To finish the week, students meet in small groups that are student-led and modeled on discipleship. These groups give students the opportunity to apply what they are learning from Romans, share prayer needs, encourage one another, and practice leading conversations rooted in Scripture.

Monthly Mentor Class Opportunities
Each month during Tuesday Eagle Time, Secondary students (6th–12th) partner with an Elementary Mentor Class (4K–5th) for fun, meaningful activities. From reading and games to art projects and Bible studies, these moments build leadership, service, and connection across our school community. Parents can log into FACTS to see monthly happenings in Eagle Time.
