Faith in Action

At Faith Christian School, leadership begins with a heart of servanthood. True leadership is less about power and position and more about serving others from the inside out, a reflection of the transformation that Christ brings in us. Throughout the year, our students are given numerous opportunities to serve each other, their school, and our wider community, helping them live out their faith in tangible ways.

Elementary Service: “Packing Hope”

Our elementary students play a crucial role in our service culture. Each fall and spring, they participate in a school-wide food‑packing event in partnership with Children’s World Impact and  Kids Around the World (see their website here). During this hands‑on event, students assemble meals that will be sent to children in need around the world. It’s a powerful opportunity for our young learners to see their faith at work and understand that serving others is part of following Jesus.

Secondary Service: Community Engagement

Middle and high school students deepen that experience through structured service requirements (10 hours per semester for middle school / 15 hours per semester for high school). Twice each year: once as a whole‑school effort and once within their grade groups, they serve at local ministries, camps, or churches, giving back in diverse ways such as landscaping, cleaning, relational outreach, and more. These experiences help them grow in character, compassion, and leadership.

At FCS, service isn’t just extra; it’s integral. We believe that disciples of Christ live with purpose and a heart of influence, serving those around them with humility and joy. Through these Service Days, our prayer is that students of all ages will return home changed, inspired, and ready to live out the Gospel in everyday life.
